As a lifelong lover of fashion and self-expression, I searched
for clothing that truly reflected my values and interests. But
most options available were limited to mass-produced t-shirts
and hoodies with generic prints—lacking depth, meaning, and
individuality. I wanted something different—something crafted
from scratch, infused with my personality, and accessible at a
reasonable price.

Everything changed when I began working with my mother, who
runs a small design and production studio in Faridabad, India.
With her guidance, I was able to transform my visions into
reality—creating custom pieces that embodied my unique style.
From a hand-embroidered button-down featuring delicate
mushroom art to a Burning Man outfit blending the energy of LA
with Indian craftsmanship, each piece became an extension of
my identity. This experience sparked a vision: what if this
level of personalization wasn{"'"}t just for designers and
manufacturers, but for everyone?

Determined to understand the world of garment production, I
immersed myself in the supply chain industry I had worked in
for years—traveling to cotton farms, textile mills, and
large-scale factories. The focus everywhere was on efficiency,
mass production, and economies of scale. While quality and
standards were emphasized, the process felt mechanical—devoid
of character, emotion, or artistry.

But as I traveled deeper into India, I uncovered a world that
was entirely different. From Gujarat{"'"}s rain-fed,
chemical-free Kala Cotton to Bengal{"'"}s intricate Kantha
embroidery, each region carried a rich legacy of
craftsmanship. Generational knowledge, love, and attention to
detail were woven into every fabric. Wearing these textiles, I
felt something I had never experienced before—a profound
connection to nature, culture, and ultimately, to myself.

That was my Aha! moment. I had found my purpose in fashion:
blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technology,
radical self-expression with supply chain transparency, and my
Eastern roots with my Western branches.

With this vision, my mother and I created Morni—a
subscription-based platform that empowers individuals to bring
their fashion ideas to life. By connecting people directly
with artisans and production resources, we are redefining the
way fashion is consumed—or rather, pro-sumed. Morni is more
than just a brand; it{"'"}s a movement toward mindful,
meaningful, and deeply personal fashion.

Be Your Own Brand

Self-expression lies at the heart of Morni. We believe in
embracing individuality through fashion—creating a style that
is uniquely yours and wearing it with confidence. Every piece
you own should be a reflection of who you are, allowing you to
stand out authentically in a world of trends.

Know What You Are Consuming

Every garment has a story, and we want you to know it. From
the origin of the fabric to the hands that craft it,
transparency is key. Each Morni piece comes with a digital
certificate detailing its journey—where the fabric was
sourced, the craftsmanship behind it, and the artisan who
brought it to life. By making informed choices, you not only
invest in quality but also contribute to a more mindful and
responsible way of consuming fashion.

Connect with Culture and Nature

Fabrics are more than just woven threads—they are deeply
rooted in history, tradition, and the natural world. Wearing
natural textiles allows us to connect with both culture and
nature, benefiting not just our physical well-being but also
our emotional and spiritual health. Natural fabrics regulate
body temperature, elevate mood, and instill confidence,
fostering a deeper connection to the world around us and to
ourselves.

Consume → ProSume

We believe in moving beyond passive consumption and becoming
active participants in creation. Whether it{"'"}s growing your
own food, generating your own energy, or co-creating your
wardrobe, empowerment comes from involvement. Our
subscription-based model allows you to be part of the design
process, making fashion more intentional, personal, and
sustainable. By embracing this shift, we redefine
consumption—turning it into an act of conscious participation.
